Hi. Thanks for stopping in. I’m Carla, owner/operator of our busy little flower farm here in Castledale, BC. I’ve been living and loving life in the Golden area for over 20 years.

My grandparents on both sides of my family were lifelong farmers.

I grew up in Humboldt, Saskatchewan only an hour away from both sets of grandparents. As a child, my siblings and I were lucky to spend lots of time getting dirty on the farms. I was raised harvesting vegetables, gathering eggs, stepping in cow patties, discovering barn kittens and delivering lunches to family members working out in the grain fields.

I remember her picking sweet peas for me to take home. She would wrap the stems in a wet paper towel, tuck them in a small plastic bag and secure them with an elastic band. I cherished those little bundles of flowers so much.

My passion for farm to table living has followed me into adulthood. Intentional growing and supporting local farmers has always been important to me, both personally and professionally.
